Check out this interview -- the very first three minutes. Very weird... At 2:50 or so -- she wrote love letters to him before every game? They would talk at night and in the morning and pray together???
doesn't add up, they talked for hours every night? umm that's a pretty elaborate "hoax" he's def in on it and lol nik, is your gaydar going off or something?
Yeah, I'm pretty much convinced of it at this point. It can't be easy to be a great player and have to hide being gay from your teammates. Those of us who played sports know that the locker room is a complex place socially, and if you don't assimilate to the majority, you're a true outcast. I think that the media started asking to meet his "girlfriend" when Teo suddenly became a national story because of his play and Notre Dame's play, and the only way out of it was to lie about her dying and just hoping it went away.
Add it up. Huge football star at a huge university with a devout Mormon background and a huge polynesian family (from my experience with my wife's "adopted Hawaiian family, that means they are all up in your business). "Friend" in California that ends up making up a fake online presence ... friend is also polynesian with a devout Christian background and the same kind of huge "nosey" family. So how do these two carry on a multi-year online romance without tipping off their families and the rest of the world that they are gay? My guess is that people started to get suspicious, so these two decided to "kill" the fake persona and hoped that nobody would notice.
Hah -- here's another one. I remember listening to the post-interview comments in the car when this happened. http://audio.wgr550.com/a/64902446/10-17-notre-dame-lb-manti-te-o-on-the-jim-rome-show.htm About 4:45 for a few minutes.
Yeah, but think about reporters doing stories on Te'o, what if they tried to get an interview with her to talk about Manti?
yes, what if a reporter tried to talk to every slut a star footballer banged, would anyone care? Im just saying killing her was a poor decision, do u really disagree? lol
He said she had cancer in April. She didn't "die" until Teo was suddenly a national story. Did you give a rip about who the guy was before Notre Dame went undefeated this season?
Well, they came up with this harebrained scheme to begin with, right? How could anything about this surprise you at this point? Plus, Teo was the one who played up the whole cancer story before this season ever started.
haha true I guess apparently the fullback from the az cardinals has met her too? before she ever "met" teo this is getting weirder
