Gortat isn't a bad Plan B; he'll make less than $8mil a year next year, and has a PER that's above average (if not spectacular). He'd be our oldest starter, and would likely fade away right as Leonard comes up (if he does come up) to be of starter quality. Last year's stats hint to me he'd do well with Lillard, too. We could try and position some Hickson-involved trade as a way for them to get younger and better, while giving us the height we need.
I'd be interested in Shannon Brown as first guard off the bench to add scoring punch. He's paid 3.5 next year, so maybe we don't want to lose the cap space. But am guessing they don't envision a huge need for him, and would welcome losing the salary off next season.
