Buy.Al Jefferson steps his game averaging 15 ppg and 9 rpg, becoming one of the lead candidates for the MIP award.

Sell, I don't see him putting up 15/9 this year. I mean I would be one of the happiest fans alive if he did, but I don't see it happening. I expect improvement though, and I think he could be able to get something like 10/6-7. But I'm not so much hooked on statistical expectations, as long as he keeps working hard and finally gets passed this ankle situation, the rest will take care of itself.

Buy/Sell: One of West, Telfair, Allen, or Rondo will be dealt by trade deadline to relieve minutes.

sell. for some reason i can see doc having little patience with Telfair. Plus, Delonte can play 1 and 2.buy/sell. Al Jefferson will be starting by January.

Buy, I think this is Big Al's time. If he can get move on from his ankle problems (after having surgery to clear it up), there are no more excuses and nothing holding him back from turning out to be the player he can be. Also, I'm very pleased to hear that Jefferson is working hard this summer. I hope he bounces back, we need it, and it would be a shame if his talent gets wasted because of a bum ankle. But if he can stay healthy, I can definitely see him earning the starting job by January.

Buy/Sell: We pick up Tony Allen's option by October 31st (deadline to pick up his option).

buy. like i said, tony's services are too valuable to let him go. if we don't pick up his option, we'll probably just re-sign him when his contract expires.

No, if we don't pick up his option he will either be traded or just let go.

well, my thinking is that if we don't pick up his option, that we were just too late to it. I think Danny sees really how valuable TA is/can be to this team.

Yeah, but he also sees how valuable Rondo/West/Green could be in the future. His court situation is supposed to be dealt with by Oct. 31. So, if TA gets off ok (which I definitely see happening because he's a pro athlete and he didn't kill anyone.. no way he gets jail time. That's just the way the system works) then I think Ainge will pick it up. His defense is just too valuable, and when he's at full strength his athleticism benefits him greatly offensively.

what i love about tony is that he is always looking for easy buckets. any time there is an opportunity, he'll jolt out on the fast break. Easy scores for him, easy scores for the team. He also doesn't like to complicate things on the court. He does a very good job defending guys around his height.

He also defends guys above his height. Allen is only about 6'4'' and he does a good job guarding 6'6''-6'7'' players. He's just a gifted defender. But we have to keep this thing going:

Buy/Sell: Theo Ratliff or Sebastian Telfair (or both) is traded before the season starts (they are officially allowed to be traded Monday...and note the weirdness of Theo not being introduced in any way).

I agree it's weird he wasn't introduced and I would applaud Ainge if he could move him. I hope they keep Telfair and I think they will.

Remember to post your own questions when you are done answering :dribble:

Buy/Sell: Powe plays more minutes than Scal.

Sell. I think Scal will get his garbage minutes while Powe spends most of the year inactive.Buy or sell: Wally will be in a C's uni come Feb 24th.

Sell. I see him being traded by trade deadline with a young player or 2 for a good player to match up with Pierce. Could be Theo, but Wally is more appealing.

Buy/Sell: Gerald Green gets into the consistant rotation after the All-Star break.

i'm gonna say sell. unless we don't have a shot at the playoffs (which i think we will), Gerald will continue to get garbage minutes. Doc just doesn't like playing him. And right now, i definitely think Delonte, Wally, TA, Pierce are above him.buy/sell: the Cs will finish the season with atleast 45 wins.

Sell-there is too much competition in the league. An even 42-42 is probably what I would say.Buy or Sell: Wally starts year on bench.

sell. doc would get alot of criticism if wally came off the bench, especially at first. plus, he has a fetish for vets..buy/sell: Tony Allen makes a huge jump this year. 12+ ppg, 5+ rpg, 2 spg, with the best defense this team has seen in this decade. [IMG]

That's a bit overboard. Maybe something like 8 ppg, 4 rpg, and 2 apg. buy/sell Ratliff will be a mentor to Perkins, making him the defensive big man the Cs need.
