I thought it was really nice seeing e will walking on his own at huddles and at the end of the game. It would be such a blessing to see him on the court this season. I don't know how possible it is though.
I would like to see him healthy with this team next year but he is a free agent and i just am not sure he will be here
I doubt it, unless he feels some loyalty with the team. He could just wait it out until Portland does all their signings, then sign, regardless if they are over cap or not (bird rights)
We won't have cap room after this summer. This is the year to do what we need to do. If we build our team and e will is still available, offering him a mle contract of 1.5 mil per isn't going to hog tie this team. If he finds another team, I wouldn't blame him though. Maybe he should lean towards Phoenix? They have an awesome training staff.
I wonder if he would be interested in playing for Memphis since he played college ball and is from there. I have no idea what their needs or cap situation is but just a thought.
Well if he gets 1.5 mil, it really wouldn't matter what financial situation the team is in. Even teams with luxury tax can still offer vet min or min mle contracts.
I meant taking up this years cap room to sign a guy like him. Offering him any money is a huge mistake
Who's going to outbid Portland for a skinny player who is more injury prone than Greg Oden? Someone will probably take a chance, for the minimum, and it's just as likely to be Portland.
I only said that if he is still available after we make all our moves; then signing him isn't much of a risk IMO.
