Me and Serge were arguing who is better. And I dont know why he thinks Bosh is better. But who do you think is better?. Amare is so much better than he is IMO.Rookie Stats Bosh: 11.5 ppg 7.4 rpg 1.0 apg 1.4 bpgAmare: 13.5 ppg 8.8 rpg 1.0 apg 1.06 bpgSophmore StatsBosh: 16.8 ppg 8.9 rpg 1.9 apg 1.4 bpgAmare: 20.6 ppg 9.0 rpg 1.4 apg 1.6 bpgLast Full SeasonBosh: 22.5 ppg 9.2 rpg 2.6 apg 1.1 bpgAmare: 26.0 ppg 8.9 rpg 1.6 apg 1.6 bpgOk mabee hes not that much better stat wise. But still better
Amare - no contest. What did he average against the spurs in last years playoff 37 of something?- Against TD!!. The dude is awesome
Well, when Amare WAS healthy, the comparison isnt even legit. What Amare did against the spurs in the 04-05 playoffs was ridiculous. He dominated one of the best interior defenders in the NBA. He WAS extremely explosive and unstopable. Now having that said, I would take Bosh on my team in a new york minute. The reasoning is obviously because of Amares health. I do not believe that he will be able to ever fully recover from his injury. Bosh, will also take another step up this season and for a few more seasons as well. I would take a healthy Amare no doubt, but I will take Bosh because Amare isnt healthy.

I also think Amare is unlikely to come back from that type of Injury. I read an article a while ago and it listed the other top player who had similar injuries - from memory none of them were the same afterwards!
Amare looked pretty good during summer league, and although the competition is not nearly as competitive as the real NBA, he is improving. That is the point, and I also do not think he will fully recover but i think he will be pretty close to it. If he can gain some of his explosiveness, you can probably compare Amare to anyone in the NBA. Stoudemire is MVP material. Bosh is very good but I have always seen him as a 22/10 person while amare is 25+ points, around 10 rebounds with intangibles that is brought with explosiveness and motivation. About the no one coming back from same injury that article also said Amare's injury isnt as severe as theirs because he is younger and stronger than they were. Amare Stoudmire, hands down.

And look at him now, he plays about 30 games a year.
I'll take Amare, although Bosh isn't far behind.Anyway, for everybody who thinks Amare will not be the same after he returns, the jury is still out on that. The guy hasn't played a full season yet since his return, and he is still in the process of rehabbing. Historically the future doesn't look to good for Amare when you look at all the players who have had the same procedure, and how they were not the same after their return. But then again, you do have to take into account that Amare had a less severe injury than they did, and the problem was dealt with at an early age, which increases the likelihood of a successful comeback.Let's just wait and see what happens with Amare, but even if he doesn't come back as the same player, I think he'll successfully mold his game so that he will still be one of the best big men in the league.

I'd take Bosh right now still because anything about the knee is always concerning but with a healthy Amare and one that has worked on his game a lot since the surgery I would definetly pick him.And to add to my first sentence he is younger than most who underwent that surgery and he has been working very hard to get back. And with an improved jump shot , good passing and assuming he also spent the year improving other parts of his game I think he'll be an all-star if he even gets back 80% of that freakish athleticism.
Amarizzle. That motha fizzle can shizzle my bizzle any dizzle. If you understood that, quietly go to the bathroom, and kill yoself. I dont know how, but do it.Amare. The guy is a freak. When he comes back at full, god damn look out! If he works on rebounding, then really look out!
