    - Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson still can't believe guard Stephen Curry was left off the Western Conference All-Star team.

"He is an All-Star," Jackson said before Friday night's game against the Chicago Bulls. "The thing I talk about is he stands for everything that's right. If you're a coach, he's the one guy you should vote for. I wish coaches had the luxury of watching this guy go about his business every day. I wish coaches had the luxury of watching this guy's energy, effort, enthusiasm, leadership ability today after being snubbed."

Curry was not one of the reserves who the Western Conference coaches selected Thursday to fill out the roster, but he was trying to take the snub in stride.

"I think I got more plug from not making it than if I would have," Curry said. "I'm sure you could say that, but I'm not really worried about it at all. (Thursday) I was anxious to see what would happen. I was hoping for the best, but we got one guy from our team in there (David Lee), so the Warriors are represented and we still got 41 games to play."

Curry appreciated the fact many players and coaches, including TNT analyst Charles Barkley, went out of their way to acknowledge his play.

"That was real fun to watch," Curry said of Barkley's indignation regarding the snub. "Just to see how animated he was and how much of a supporter he was that I should have been there, but I have heard a lot of notable figures come out and supporting the season that I've had up until this point, so that does mean a lot. That you have the respect of your peers and some legends that have laced them up, too."

Sucks for Steph, but CP3, Westbrook, and Parker all deserve it more than him, and then you have Kobe and Harden at SG. LMA was a sort of fringe pick as a wild card guy but meh, what are you going to do.

Take the free time to rest those porcelain ankles Steph.

Parker is a good player but not what the fans want to see in an All-Star game. The All-Star game is supposed to have excitement, suspense, super deep 3-point shots and dunks. Parker just runs the floor, scores tough lay-ups and passes. Stephen Curry would bring the excitement with his ridiculous range.
