what would you like to see to make it more exciting? I think it's really gone down hill. I also think the NBA is at a dead end with it and that's why you haven't seen any changes. I think one on one tournaments with the best players (No Refs) would be nice but nobody wants to do that due to greater risk of injury. I think the All Star weekend pretty much sucks though.

I'd like to see the dance teams from every team have a mud wrestling tournament. The Blazer dancers might not be the prettiest but we have a couple of big girls on the team. We would do pretty well.

Lingerie game with the all star cheer leaders from each conference. No foul calls, unlimited clutching and holding encouraged. Then a bench clearing fight breaks out, and no one bothers to break it up. Then they wheel out a big glass shower booth at the end of the game. Oh, yeah. And Mrs. Mags and Mrs. HCP are the referees.

Otherwise, if there is no Blazers player involved, I'm not watching.

    BGD fails at thread titles.

    As well as threads.

Three point shooting contest with big men who can't shoot. Would love to see Dwight, Perkins, and Chandler go at it.

Legends game would be fun again. Get Magic, Kenny, and Charles out there. That's entertainment!

Geoff Petrie won the NBA 1on1 tourney against Gale Goodrich when I was a kid. Each team had two reps. They played elimination games and would show them every week at halftime of the ABC telecast. After Petrie won what turned into a long drawn out jump shooting contest, they stopped doing it.

How would they pick who to play in it? I don't think the all stars would like playing all those games during the all star weekend. Too much work. Even if it was one non-all star per team that's a lot of games for the eventual champ.

The only part of all star weekend I like is the Rookie/Sophomore game

I think the only thing good is the three point shoot out. The old timer game was better than the Rookie/Sophomore game hands down. I'm waiting for a player in the dunk contest to ride a BMX bike off a high jump that is taller than the basket, do a flip jump off catch the ball 360 and pack it.
