    You obviously haven't seen Griffin a lot in the post

    He basically has one move and that's just overpower everything. When he tries an actual baby hook half of the time it's ugly.

    Then why doesn't that happen every game?
    In a close game all you need to do is foul LMA in the 4th quarter cos you know he's not gonna hit clutch FTs. Heck, how many points is he averaging in the 4th quarter? It use to be about 4, though I would think that he's probably increased it to about 6 this season...hopefully.

    I don't have this season's stats - but I ran them for previous seasons and his scoring in the 4th quarter was literally right around 4p. Not opinion, fact.

    His FT% goes from 82% to 63% in the last 5 minutes of the game and OT according to 82games.com http://www.82games.com/1213/12POR12.HTM

    His FG% also drops, but only slightly

    Griffins is 56% at the end of games. Id take Aldridge shooting 20% better than Griffin the entire game and 7% better at the end of games.

    I don't know of any website that tracks scoring by quarter - I was compiling it myself. I started to this season, but stopped updating my spreadsheet after 20 games - if I ever have a really long dry-spell at work maybe I'll go back and update all the missing data. When I stopped logging it he had his 4th quarter scoring average up to 5.88.

    Last yr Aldridge was 92% with only 12 shots attempted, the yr before 63%, then 70%, then 70%.

    Griffin has stuck in the mid 50%'s each yr.

    Id take Aldridge easy

    Just proves that myopic hate will cloud anyone's reality. Just like myopic love. I wonder how many in here can actually look at a player outside the box and give a true value of a player?

    Never quite understood the whole "I hate this player and am never going to change my mind and I'll argue about it even if they have triple doubles and make all star teams because I'm too fucking stupid/stubborn to admit I was wrong" thing......... just man up that you were wrong and you might scrounge up a little bit of respect around here.
