Best:Atlanta Hawks- Speedy Claxton. They made a great move picking up Claxton from the Hornets, he is going to make a huge impact for Atlanta. Clax averaged a solid 12 points, 5 assists, 1.5 steals off the bench last season. He gives Atlanta the first true PG they had in a very long time.Dallas Mavericks- Devean GeorgeGreat pickup, George came at a BARGAIN price. He knows what it takes to win, he's a great defender, and he's the perfect Avery Johnson type player. When you add a player like George to an already championship caliber team good things are going to happen, Dallas added even more depth to their roster,Worst:Sacramento - John Salmons
This topic has been made many times..but whatever.Washington - Signing DeShawn Stevenson to a BARGAIN of a price.

Salmons was signed to the kings EDIT: Oops, I know that I accidently put Toronto because I forget about him turning down the deal after they pretty much agreed.-BALLAHOLLIC
Nazr to the Pistons was good. A player replacing the face of the franchise isn't always easy. He's a good and underrated replacement.

I agree that Nene was the worst.the best, Im going with Ben Wallace. he should make the Bulls a really though though team come this season.
I think the Bulls will be alot stronger inside with Ben. Just because that's what he does. But, really Nene was the worst sign. Best to Ben Wallace
How about Anthony Parker? Is he considered as a free agent, if he is, he was probably the best so far.
ANTHONY PARKER!This guy is a perfect role player. He shoots well, great defender, knows the game as well as anyone, good without the ball, good passer, smart decisions. He is one of the best role players in the NBA. We arent the same without him. We went on a 3 game losing streak without him.
There's also Eddie Jones getting signed by the heat after he got waived. I dunno about now. But when he went back to the heat and played a few games for the heat. He was on fire at the 3 and a solid defender as well. Also the Raptors signing Jorge Garbaosa. He's had up and downs this season but is also a great defender along with Parker.

Peja's not so hot is he
I haven't liked Peja for the last couple years. For a while, he was incredible... now he's just another player. Meh.I didn't know much of anything about George previously to this season aside from him being a former Laker. I like him a lot, though.
Worst- Marcus Banks by the Phoenix Suns5-years, $30 MIL? Ugh.....why Phoenix? They have Steve Nash and Leonardo Barbosa, I guess they wanted a lot of depth in case Nash missed some games. Banks is a player with pretty good defensive skills and amazing quickness. But offensively, it seems like he just doesn't get anything, he consistently struggled in Boston. He isn't a bad bench point guard but $30 Million? There was no need for that.Best-Jason Terry by the Dallas MavericksReupping Terry was so essential to Dallas's success. He fits great into the Dallas offense, is an amazing sidekick to Dirk, a lights out shooter, and he's also a good defender.
John Salmons hasn't done that bad. I mean not much was expected of him in the first place.Nene was probably the worst because of his contract - but hey, you don't get rid of young athletic centers with hands.
