I'm looking at Ed Davis. If there was anyway TOR would let him go, we need to get him. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/4728/gamelog Edit: If we get to keep our pick after the lottery, can we trade it? I'd combine that and Nolan/Elliot/etc etc for Davis.
That's just it. The new generation is seriously sissified. Not saying KG is a Charles Oakley, but for once I would like a little nasty to rub off on our squad. Problem is LA just can't comprehend the power of the dark side.
No, we can't trade our pick even if we get it. But, like MM suggests, we could try to get in on the Gay to Toronto rumors. The basic framework works. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=azs5aaq
Of course you want a gay threesome. We all saw that coming. You can't put "gay" and "threesome" together in a post and not expect some blowback.
I disagree on this, personally. I think we need more aggressiveness from Lillard early on. We had similar issues with Roy as well, and slow starts, when he played more facilitator early on. Wes is best as a catch and shoot guy, which fits in well alongside batum, Lillard and Aldridge. If you complain about his ability to create for himself, then having him as a 6th man, who you want as a guy creating his own shot would be a bad idea, IMO.
As for the C position, while a Joel type would be nice, I got really tired of playing 5 on 4 on offense. Someone like Camby was better, as he was an excellent passer out of the high post. We can't just punt one of the positions on offense, it gives opponents an easy break, and allows one guy to kind of roam free close to the basket looking to block shots.
That would be ideal. Maybe we can throw in EWill to MEM to entice them to bite on it with the hometown kid coming back.
which is why what we really need to do, barring an acquisition of a two-way player, is play Leonard and accelerate his development.
Would the refs let a younger player, say Meyers Leonard, get away with the illegal screens and 'nasty' that KG gets away with? I'm thinking, not.
