should have been called http://espn.go.com/dallas/nba/story/_/id/8898877/nba-oj-mayo-dallas-mavericks-not-called-foul
Seconded! Is this the call that sends Dallas spiraling downward, and we go on to make the Championship game!?
In college it would have been a routine call. Offensive foul. They favor the defensive guy more. But I agree that it was a bad call. But you really have to go to slow motion to be sure. It was not an easy call to make. But hey "karma bitch". How many times has Dirk flopped against us in the last decade by throwing his arms up like he was fucking mugged. When in reality there was no foul? Can't feel too sorry for them.
So one out of 100, bad game altering calls they acknowledge? What gives? It is time to implement comprehensive replay officiating.
It seems bizarre and random to pick one possiby incorrect call out of thousands that happen every week and make a big deal out of it. There are incorrect game-changing or points changing or momentum changing or strategy changing or lineup changing calls throughout every game. Are they going to call out the refs for a bad three-point swing call in the first minute of a game that ends up decided by one point? It's a joke.
