name some players that you think will do well, but won't get alot of recognition for it. say, they made a big jump, but not enough to win MIP. Or they had a very good season, but not well enough for the All-Star team.

Andre Iguodala and Louis Williams off of my Sixers, and possibly even Shavlik Randolph (to a lesser extent of course).I think John Salmons will (unfortunately) have a breakout season with Sacramento. Not necessarily something that will make you go crazy over him, but I can see him averaging about 12-15 points and 3-5 assists a night for the Kings.Al Harrington will also be a guy who puts up good numbers, but just won't make it to the ASG because there are too many good forwards out there, especially if he ends up going out West.I think KG makes it back to the ASG this season, but it will be as a reserve.I know this isn't really a darkhorse pick, but Carmelo Anthony BETTER be picked for the ASG this year. He should have been there last season but got left off, and if he is left off again this year (assuming he plays atleast just as good as he did last season), then I really don't know what to say.Raymond Felton will continue his hot streak from the end of last season, assuming he gets the PT and there is no "point guard controversy" between him and Brevin Knight.Okafor should be back at full strength as well.I could go on and on, but that should be enough for now.EDIT: Add Joe Johnson to my list as well.

Chris Wilcox. He wasn't in the running for MIP as it was only 28 games with the sonics. If he can put the same typew of numbers 2 things will happen. 1. HE WILL WIN mip 2. The sonics will be in the hunt for a playoff birth.

Wilcox won't win MIP this year anymore.Deron Williams will make a jump, but he will be overshadowed by Ray Felton and Chris Paul.

Short of winning the title he cant get that much better(compared to what some other will do) ?! Do you have a precidence for a player having a great year and then getting better by enough to win it? or even a roty getting it in season 2?

That means they're still going to be better than him, not that they're going to be MIP candidates. [IMG]

I gotta go with my boy Diop here. He's never going to win an award for anything, but he has been playing his heart out and the Mavs have benefitted from it big time. I'm not going to say he took us to the finals, but he definitely added some stability to center.

I hope Delonte West. He had a great season and I hope he continues to get better this season. I think he will see more time at the 2 and he should increase his scoring.
