The problems started after 9-11, with legislation such as the Patriot Act(and many others that have followed), and the creation of the Department of Homeland Security. Every phone call and internet transmission from every citizen in the US is stored in massive databases. The government has the right to accuse any american citizen of terrorism and detain them indefinitely, and try them via a military tribunal.

So many of the constitutional rights which were put in place to protect us have been eliminated. Despite what you think your chances are of ever falling victim to this, the laws were there for a reason.

There are plans to have the TSA all over the place. I hate those fucking assholes.
