I have a hard time going past a hall of famer and someone who has his number retired.- I'm not saying that GP wont have that at the end of his career. I always pictured Willis Reed as the best player in Knicks history. I never got to see them play though. I know that in the 1970 Championships, Willis was injured and still played. He played his entire career with the Knicks, and still won two titles and two finals MVPs, to go along with a regular season MVP.

Being a championship coach alone is something but playing while coaching. there's 2 different mentality doing those jobs, some players can't even focus just playing on the court.that's ur opinion and i respect that, but i can't believe u just said that.
I mean, it means a lot, but it's not a huge difference. Bill was a smart man, and could make a huge impact as a player and as a coach, as he did.
