As I mentioned, I'm pretty sure the Bible calls for execution of people based upon crimes they commit.

According to this WWW page: http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/judaica/ejud_0002_0004_0_03929.html

The three accepted forms of executions were hanging, stoning, and burning.

As for non biblical definitions of murder, it seems obvious to me the Roman armies killed lots of their enemies, and the Romans also fed christians to the lions.

what is it a counterpoint to? Guess I missed it. Sorry, not intending to be too mean, but why not actually type something when you post a link to something, to at least explain the link.

There's two stories about shootings. One is getting a massive amount of press, the other not. I find it interesting.

Why do you think the second story is getting no national press coverage?

    See. Try adding that then.

I'd say because the victim wasn't someone who wrote a book and was a famous sniper.

Well, I wasn't trying to offer my opinion first. I was expecting people to offer their own. I'm sorry you didn't see the relevance.

My opinion is that the press is more interested in pushing ultimately for gun bans. The second story really hurts that cause.

On the other hand, if the press didn't glorify the shootings and shooters and made heros out of the guys who use guns to stop crimes, the criminals might think twice about trying to assault women in parking garages (as in the story I posted).

Byron York documents several examples of what should be neutral (we cover the news, not opine about it) reporters and anchors but are instead openly advocating for gun control.

Chris Kyle's death seems to confirm that "he who lives by the sword dies by the sword." Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn't make sense

SPD beat me to it. Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn't make sense.

To be fair, most people didn't even know Keith Ratliff existed. Many outlets reported that Kyle Myers (aka Dmitri) was the one shot when the news first broke. Though I guess the videos have stopped...

At approximately the same time, the lights went out at the SuperBowl. The Mafia doesn't have this kind of power. Only a powerful government agency could pull all this off within such time constraints.

Ratliffe's YouTube channel is the 9th busiest ever. Over 3 million members and half a billion views.

Yeah, thanks, but FPS Russia is Kyle Myers' character, not Ratliff's. I don't believe Ratliff was in any video or even mentioned. It was only after he was dead that people learned how he was involved (basically ran the show and supplied the equipment).
