    1) It has been proven that Lanza did NOT use an assault rifle in Newtown. They recovered four handguns from the school.

    2) Lanza attempted to buy an assault rifle, but the gun control already in place would not allow him to purchase the rifle because there is a waiting period in CT.

    Will this change Obama's crusade? Probably not.

    Our only hope is for the people to bring balance back to capital hill. We need the Senate to be GOP! 2 years I suspect this is going to happen after the people see how fucked up we become

    Still haven't answered. I asking for gun control and you jumped all over me, saying I should move to china. Then the man you voted into presidency is advocating strict gun control and I haven't read you saying anything negative about him. Does he get a pass?

    I've stated that he and other Dems are handing the Repubs the next couple of Presidential elections solely by going after The Second Amendment. I've stated he's following Hitler's methods of disarming the populace step by step.

    It's not like this is some hidden agenda by Obama. Gun control was not something he even hinted at in his first term or made an agenda during his campaign. There have been some tragedies recently and a very large portion of the population has cried for this problem to be addressed through gun control. As a president, one way or the other, he has to deal with the issue.

    I understand that some aren't going to like the way he is dealing with the situation (no matter how he handles this someone will not be happy), but to make it out as some hidden agenda is silly.
