Why is there a Black History Month but not a White History Month?

If there were a White History Month, it would be quite an unpleasant month. I don't think the white power types really want to review all that negative stuff for a month each year.

Guys, taking the "colorblind" approach doesn't end racism. All it does is helps to reinforce your privileged world views while invalidating POC's cultural experiences. We're not on a blank slate. We have to deal with the world around us. Pretending people are all the same will only cause more problems than it solves.

It is a private matter, no one is forced to celebrate it.

That's true, I meant among us here at sportstwo it is just a private opinion. You can celebrate it or not.

This shouldn't be a government matter.

There weren't a lot of them, but quite a few more than you imply.

I Spy was a pretty good show co-starring Bill Cosby. The Sammy Davis Jr. show. Mission Impossible, The Outcasts, Room 222, Rawhide for a few episodes and Star Trek are few others I remember watching.

Sydney Poitier was a legit star in the early sixties.

There are lots more listed here....

The problem with MLK Day is that Dr. King's brilliantly and eloquently spoken message has been twisted and exploited for profit by race-hustling poverty pimps and extortionists like Jackson and Sharpton.

Mingling increases racism, not the other way around.
