Kid goes 1-16 and he is still a better option than anybody on the bench.

That is just tragic. Wake me up when this team hires a real GM.

Who cares how badly he shot.... he had 12 dimes. I think the 12 dimes counters the shitty shooting.

    Disappointed in Lillard.
    He totally mailed it in.

What to do when your shots not falling?
Jeez I don't know - how about trying to penetrate to get to the line?
Naah I'll just keep jacking up long shots.

Or, you know, hand out 12 assists...

I'm ok with 1991 Tim Hardaway and 2002 Jason Kidd being my PG's comps on his worst day yet...

Lovely, a guy misses a bunch of shots and suddenly it's a flaw in his character.

Disagree. Gotta keep shooting. By the way, wasn't 12 his career high in assists? That's what stars do when they're having an off shooting night. They find other ways to contribute and make their teammates better. In one of Pippen's legendary great performances, he controlled a game despite only scoring 4 points.

    Info:
Scoring only four points, Scottie Pippen dominated Game One of the Eastern Conference Finals against Indiana with his defense on Pacers point guard Mark Jackson, who turned the ball over seven times in an 85-79 Bulls victory. Pippen struggled from the field, but dished out seven assists, grabbed seven boards and added four steals.

Lillard completely destroyed his trade value last night. We're so fucked!

Come on, this Rubio card we play was revoked last night. As long as Lillard holds the all-time worst shooting performance for a rookie in a game, no more shots at Rubio!

No way! Bricky is a pinata, and you know Lillard will prove that was an anomaly.

No it wasn't. What a ridiculous thing to say. One bad shooting game doesn't make someone a bad shooter. It's a slump. It happens to all shooters, good and bad.

Bricky just had his two highest scoring games of the entire season and raised his FG% all the way up to .340, the highest it's been all season. Lillard just had the worst shooting game ever by an NBA rookie and his FG% plummeted all the way down to .419, the lowest it's been since opening night. Sorry, we still get to play the Bricky card - at lest until Rubio shoots better than Lillard for an entire season.

    Oh, and least you forget:

In games Rubio has played, Minnesota is 5-18. Rubio is currently play is "best" ball of the season, but his team has lost 11 of their last 12. So much for making his teammates better.

Rubio deserves the criticism and Lillard deserves the accolades. One game doesn't change that.

BTW, Anthony Davis was 0-7 tonight. That's it, the guy's an absolute bust, because rookies that are any good NEVER have off shooting nights. Maybe if they're lucky, they can trade him to the Timberwolves for Pekovic. And then, we could dump Lillard on them for Rubio, the game changer who would lead us to 50 wins.

    Context, douche.

Re-read the thread -- I talked about the Orlando game.

And you know what started his scoring spree in MIA? What I said he should have done in Orlando when his shot wasn't falling -- ATTACK THE RIM.

Btw, this game didn't change that he shot an NBA record by a rookie with 10+FGA. So, your point?
