Why would the DHS need 24 military grade unmanned weapons? This is just the beginning of the police using unmanned vehicles. Would you be surprised if they said they found Dorner and had to neutralize him with the drone because there weren't police officers close enough to apprehend him?

The DHS purchasing 24 Predator drones is mere speculation at this point. And yes, I would be very surprised if the cops neutralized Dorner with a drone attack. I don't believe for a minute that will happen.

Re: First Confirmed Drone Target on American Soil! Why? They've had no problem unloading on two different trucks which bore no resemblance to what Dorner was driving except that they were all pickup trucks. Why wouldn't they be willing to use a UAV to take him out?
Re: First Confirmed Drone Target on American Soil! Probably because it's fitted with cameras and not missiles. The LAPD are the ones that shot up those vehicles. I'm not sure who is operating the drones although I would guess it is DHS and not LAPD.

I would doubt it, but who knows with the way the LAPD is going right now. My point is that domestic agencies like the police, FBI, DHS, etc shouldn't be using machines that were designed for war on Americans.
