    No! Don't say that!

Why is Leonard so clueless though? The guy seems bright, physically capable, is getting good coaching we hope, and HAS to get better. Nolan Smith.........(shudder)

I don't expect Myers to be a stud but I also don't see him as a scrub like Thabeet, Rafael Araujo, or Todd Fuller.

Basketball smarts and academic smarts aren't the same thing. Leonard just doesn't look like he's been playing all that long (or maybe his coaching in his formative years was subpar?) Nolan Smith was pretty much maxed out as a player in college. He's smart enough, but doesn't have the physical tools. Apples to oranges comparison IMO.

Pek looked like garbage his first year, and so did Przybilla.

    There's hope.

Even Mark Stein hadn't written the Blazers off as a playoff team, but the loss to Orlando didn't help the cause. Even Milwaukee and Dallas are ahead of Portland in the playoff rankings in week 15.

Yeah, because he's 20 years old and has played a whopping total of 589 minutes of NBA basketball. Did you reach your full potential at your job, one that requires far less talent than playing NBA basketball, at the ripe old age of 20 with less than 10 hours of on the job experience?
