    It would have been interesting if ex-Portland Archbishop Levada became the pope (he took over Benedict's position in the Vatican), but its probably not going to happen.

    Does anyone else find it funny Pope Benedict pretty much gave the standard two-week notice?

    On a serious note, I applaud his decision if he believes he is putting the good of the Church before himself. Future popes should follow his lead when they become too frail to carry out the duties of the papacy.
