This deserves its own thread. http://reason.com/blog/2013/02/09/video-lapd-had-no-idea-who-they-were-sho It is a pretty disturbing story and not only because two women were shot at,but because surrounding homes had bullet holes in them. The cops didn't even try to make a correct identification, nor can they be immediately fired. "Triple irony" is a good phrase to describe the situation, to quote the lawyer. It is nice they ended up catching that creepy serial killer dude, but not at the expense of basic operating procedure.
Read the first page - http://sportstwo.com/threads/230515-That-cop-killing-vigilante-former-cop-guy-has-been-found. The story has been posted and discussed. Your blog post is sooooo 5 days ago. It's like you've been hiding out in a cabin in the forest and haven't heard any news.
Did you read the first page of that thread? So no one posted about the police shooting at innocent women? No one posted a picture of the truck with bullet holes in it? No one discussed that at all?
Ah, so you did read it. Anyway, it's really fucked up. The police offering to pay medical bills and buy a new truck is a complete joke. (Actually it's an incomplete joke, what completed the joke is the police releasing a statement that no tax payer funds will be used to pay the medical bills or for the new truck. It was all private donations.) Did you also hear that the cops shot at a second truck? Didn't hit the guy. He was a white guy going to surf early in the morning.
Stop over moderating, get a grip. I don't even think personal attacks against me should be moderated. No this isn't the same story the lawyer goes into much more detail.
Yes two ladies were shot at 40+ times, if we did that we wouldn't just get to pay her medical bills,we would be in court. 12 police officers in Cali beat a homeless man to death and lied about it, until a tape was produced. Big surprise, cops can be savages. Police officers cannot be fired that easily either.
I'm not over moderating. We now have 4 different threads going over Dorner and the related shootings. Can we just have one? Actually it all seems to go nicely together to me. He was fired because he complained about police abuse. The policed then freak out and abuse people over him shooting at people. And finally the police intentionally burn him up instead of trying to capture him. Oh and one more little fuck you from the LAPD they won't be paying out on any of the rewards offered in this because they all stated for information that leads to the arrest and conviction. Dorner was neither arrested or convicted so they don't have to pay.
LOL, not afraid of anything. What did you want to discuss in this thread that you couldn't discuss in the other 3 threads?
Yeah that's pretty much how I see this whole fiasco as well. However this thread is not directly about that creep, I wanted people to watch the riveting vid breaking down what happened. I just prefer youtube's approach to moderating more, much more hands-off. I get it that Denny set the standards here, so it isn't your fault. I should have clarified that. Lol the LAPD is wack we can agree on that at least. Disgusting situation all-around.
