Order a meal from god and see how long it takes for him to serve you. Actually since the pastor serves god, shouldn't god be the one to tip the pastor?
God needs a bookkeeper. We'd all be more obedient to His rules if He sent us a paycheck twice a month.
I tip at least 20%. If I'm there solely to watch a game, I give at least 25%. Figure it's not fair to take up a table for hours while only ordering a drink or two. I believe what goes around comes around.
I've only stiffed someone on a tip one time, and it was because they completely forgot about us. It was at the Tryon Bar and Grill and we waited 40 minutes before finally I went to the bar to ask about our food and he had this confused look on his face (I originally ordered from that same guy). We finally got our food after an hour of waiting. No apology. No comped food. Just bad service. They got nothing. And they weren't even busy. That's the thing that really pissed me off. We had been going in there fairly often, but we haven't been back since.
I find that second part interesting because you are stiffing the restaurant/bar more than the wait staff.
