<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>San Francisco Chronicle - Al Harrington, who recently switched agents from Andy Miller to Arn Tellem, is readily available after a sign-and-trade deal between Atlanta and Indiana reportedly was nixed by Pacers ownership.According to two league sources, the Golden State Warriors have revived discussions with three other teams on a multiple-player swap. The principal parts involve Mike Dunleavy Jr. going to the Clippers, Corey Maggette to Denver and Joe Smith to Atlanta, with the Warriors getting Harrington.Tellem represents both Harrington and Dunleavy and a similar multi-team deal was discussed in Las Vegas during the summer league, according to one of the sources. However, the status of Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy Sr., a main proponent of the team's interest in Dunleavy Jr., is what could be the deal-breaker. The coach is entering the final year of his contract and would like an extension after guiding his team to the Western Conference semifinals.</div>Bold font=  :rock:http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/419...ngton_surfaces/

Seems like the Clippers and the Hawks are getting ripped off. Plus, Joe Smith can't be traded for a while.

Sure Maggette is a good player but hes not a shooter hes a slasher... its not what Denver really needs.

Would be nice for Denver if Magette can stay healthy, he might end up being a burden for Denver if he catches the injury bug like he has many times before.

Athletic slashers, wingmen who can also grab some boards? I don't think having another SF is the solution for the Nuggets, by the way, they just got Patterson (a trade I'm not very fond of, personally).

Maybe your talking about JR Smith. I never commented on the deal, but I think it would be nice for all teams involved. Dunleavy Sr. has been trying to bring in his son the past year and this would reunite the father-son. For Denver, I don't necessarily believe they just need a shooter at the 2 spot, more like just a good 2. Which Maggs could provide and he's not a bad shooter either. Hawks get an expiring contract towards their cap for next year, and don't have to take on excess contracts. Warriors get their guy in Harrington. Works out fine, should happen imo just like the Pacers deal should have went but we saw how that went.

i just don't know how any team could allow denver to trade joe smith for corey maggette. I'm not so sure the other teams in the deal would let that happen.

Clips move Maggs for a guy who is better suited to their game(ala Boozer/Dun Dun from Duke), he would work well with Brand and also has a ideal relationship with his father as opposed to Maggs who wants to be a starter. Hawks were about to take nothing basically for Harrington.
