Also, Nolan can play backup SG instead of PG which should cut down on his mistakes and improve his effectiveness.
I always like to go to other teams forums to get a feel for a player. Surfed an OKC Thunder forum. Sounds like Thunder were shopping Maynor aggressively but the asking price was too high. Fans starting hoping either for a good draft pick or a vet. Teague's name came up and when Ptd jumped into the rumors, fans were hope/guessing Hickson or maybe Babbit. They seem a little disappointed with the trade exception . . . seems OKC fans thought he would have a lot of trade value and we got him on the cheap. the big question is can Maynor return to the player he was before the injury. Found these post insightful: i agree (before the injury), last year eric was destined to be a starter somewhere else IF we couldnt resign him. its a bad situation for him ( id trade places with him and become 30 years younger and a millionaire, lol) you know he cant be happy but yet he is normally still the first off the bench at timeouts or stoppages to greet the guys coming back to the bench. i hope regardless of what if anything we get for him he is happy and able to play for a long time. class act!!

Both Wes Matthews and Eric Maynor were drafted by the Jazz in 2009. Maynor was traded Dec 22, 2009 to OKC, so they only played part of the season together. But, they were rookies together. Wonder what kind of relationship they have?
Lemme see if I got this straight. Utah dumped Maynor on OKC for salary relief because they had to match our poison pill contract offer to Milsap. OKC then dumped Maynor on us for salary relief. In between, Utah opted to not match our poison pill offer to Mathews, resulting in he and Maynor being reunited.
Eric Maynor joins this list of #Blazers who wore No. 6: Michael Holton, Walter Davis, Joe Wolf, Mitchell Butler, Juwan Howard, Bonzi Wells. :MARIS61:
You just made me realize how bad this bench is. We probably are the only NBA team where Maynor could be 6th man.
DID YOU KNOW THIS ABOUT ERIC MAYNOR ?????????? FACT------ 1. The Jazz traded him to let Ronnie Price play. 2. Two of his seasons at Virginia Commonwealth were with Larry Sanders, the Buck with the 18.8 PER. 3. His middle name is Demarqua.
