I remember watching Whos Number 1 on ESPN Classic a couple years ago i think its Yankees Red SoxUNC DukeLAkers Celtics
The top 5 rivalries in sports are all probabely soccer or world-wide sports, and the Lakers Vs. Celtics rivalry has really cooled down....
I'm not biased, but University of Michigan and Ohio State are up there.1. Red Sox/Yankees2. UNC/Duke3. Celtics/Lakers4. Wolverines/Buckeyes5. It has to be a boxing rivalry. Ali vs. Frazier?
I'm extremely biased and I say the longest lasting college football rivalry, ASU vs. U of A. The Territorial Cup has been around for a LOOOONG time. Unfortunatly UA has 8 more wins but that gap will get smaller and smaller these next few years.

There are some really great rivalries throughout the world - arsenal v liverpool for example- rivalries that have been going for 100+ years! Aside from GArenas no-one has even thought about countries other than the USA. Is sports the US dominate the only sports that exist to you guys? Also what about Ferrari v Williams?
U of M vs. Ohio State Buckeyes rivalry is much better than ASU vs. UA.I said Ali vs. Frasier. Anyone agree with me?
No one put the Skins and Cowboys. They have to be the biggest rivalry in football. Been like that for years.

I guess alot of you dont understand the rivalry between Texas/Oklahoma and Texas/Texas A&M. Its not your fault since most of you live far from Texas, but trust me, its one of the biggest rivalries in sports. Everyone on here from Texas knows what i'm talking about.

the biggest rivalry in college sports has to be Michigan vs. Ohio State. its always competitive and i think it has had a say in who wins the big ten title something like the past 12 years. i think the series is very close and its one of those where a coach will be fired for losing this game too many times...even if they are good. (see tressel and maybe Carr after this year).other than that i would say Red Sox/ Yankees, Bears/Packers, Pats/Colts and USA/Russia
