I don't mind when the Blazers lose a well-fought and close game, but when you can see the reffing happening, and know it will continue to happen until the desired result of a Laker win is secure, it gets tough to think that a franchise like Portland is ever going to get a fair shake.

The only thing I can think of is that the refs must have had trouble saying that it was "indisputable evidence" to overturn the call. My question is - why does it have to be "indisputable"??? They have more angles and technology available on replay than they did during live action - thus, a much better chance of getting the call correct. Yet the benefit of the doubt still goes to the live action. I think the NBA should lighten up on the "indisputable" rule, and just let them decide what looks correct to them on film.

One of the angles (that the refs had access to) was clear that there was floor between the line and his foot. It wasn't too close to call.

And on a call as black and white as a 3pt shot, ANY SPACE AT ALL should make it indisputable. lol shadows don't matter as long as his feet are behind the line.

What do you mean by "start drinking?" That's a bit like asking someone where a circle starts and ends.

I think the conversation was not whether it was a 3 as it was clear. The conversation was about something else...

"Do you think we have talked for long enough to make it look like we reviewed the play?"

    "No, let's talk longer"

Of course then he says that Wes didn't get fouled when Howard hammered his left wrist.

How about when Leonard grabbed an offensive board and got hit hard on the wrist on his follow to the point the ball didn't even hit the rim from 3'?

Speaking of Leonard, I thought he actually looked like a basketball player for the first time in a long time tonight. Maybe something to build off of?

Ain't never gonna happen man. The only way a small market team could win is if they were very dominant. Good enough to blow the other team out in the finals every game, but as difficult as it is to put together a championship team, it's even harder to put together one that would put games out of reach of the officials.

It's pretty easy to fix a basketball game. For example, 5 calls can easily translate into a 10 point swing. That's just over 1 per quarter.

I thought there were 2 phantom calls on him in the 2nd quarter. That running jumper of his in the second half was one of the "no no no no no YES!!!" shots. Showed some skills on that play.

Got more egregious calls for you pinwheel.

    -Jamison's travel
-Aldridge's 5th foul that forced him to sit
-Wessy getting a T because he didn't get an obvious foul
-Dame getting hit on the head on his amazing drive
-Nic getting his elbow hit by Artest and them giving them ball right to LA
