Thought it would be fun to get ideas on guys the Blazers might take a 10-day look at who are currently in Dleague. My vote is Hassan Whiteside, most of the time he's seem buried but when get he gets a chance he produces. Last night in 29 minutes he got 13 pts, 15 rebs, 4 blocks. He's another potential Sac refugee who could be a decent player - see JJ Hickson. Oh yeah, I know a roster cut would be necessary, but we have plenty of very viable candidates for that - unfortunately.
Who? Remember, Nolan puts up good stats when he plays in the D-League. The guy would have to be pretty special to win minutes over players who've been practicing with the team all season. That said: I nominate a wing defender, especially if Wesley goes down. How about Travis Leslie? He's the #3 "prospect" listed on the DLeague website.
