Another quality thread Greg, good job!

I would love to see Dame and LMA on the Olympic team, don't know if LMA is on the radar.

I think he is but probably at the end of the list. Two invites two declines, will get a shot if a lot of other people turn it down but I think he is at the end of the list now.

Would Kyrie play for AUS? If so, I can totally see Dame and Jrue taking over as PG.

As much as i'd love to see Dame on team USA, watching Kyrie with all those other franchise players would be something fun to see.

Irving turned down playing for the Australian team in the last Olympics to preserve his Team USA eligibility.

Well, the last "decline" was because he had hip surgery, and the first one was because his mom was ill (at least that was the excuse). It's hard to hold last summer's absence against LMA considering he wasn't even able to play ball, and he received a second invitation. No reason he wouldn't get a third considering the last miss wasn't his fault.

I was remembering this http://www.csnnw.com/article/colangelo-irked-lack-communication-regarding-lamarcus-olympic-status were Colangelo was irked because LA didn't report if he would miss or not in a timely manner.

Oh who cares, I don't really like our guys playing in the Olympics anyway. They need to rest.

Yeah, I remember that too, but even after that, LMA received an invitation last summer prior to being injured. I think Colangelo and LMA had a discussion about the first invite and how LMA missed it, and LMA explained that he wanted to be with his mom in Dallas that summer because she wasn't well.
