Re: Kobe's hitting the sky again A few years ago, companies were running away from Kobe Bryant faster than he was running to the jewelry store. One settlement, $4 million in purple diamonds, and 81 points later, Kobe is once again ringing that endorsement cash register, even enticing a bidding war between Sony and 2K Sports for the rights to use him as a cover athlete for their upcoming videogames. When the final check cleared, it was Sony who signed Bryant to pose for NBA 07: The Life Vol. 2 while 2K Sports once again inked a deal with his one-time teammate, now cross-country rival, Shaquille O'Neal, proving that these two will forever be linked, even when it's not planned.http://sports.ign.com/articles/726/726842p1.htmlIt's nice to see that kobe's marketbailty is up there. Never would i think after the colorado incident that there would be bidding on kobe.
Re: Kobe's hitting the sky again As a laker fan i still worship teh ground the guy walks on but the other fans around the lague i did not ever see buying any sort of Kobe merchandise agaiN! But is good to see sum people still have faith in the great player in the league
Re: Kobe's hitting the sky again I would buy anything with Kobe's name on it, or picture, except for that game, it looks like its gonna suck. But it relly does show how much he has changes these recent years, after the "Colarado Incident" nobody would mention Kobes name near their products, now their begging him to let them have his name.Oh how the tables have turned ! :beerchug:
