<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Dajuan Wagner had a workout with the 76ers recently at their practice facility at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Courier Post Online is reporting.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Wagner is trying to work his way back into the NBA after battling knee injuries and colitis over his three-year career with the Cleveland Cavaliers .

Sixers president Billy King confirmed Wagner's workout and said he "looked good."</div>
Finally. I was waiting to hear some kind of update on Wagner. I hope he makes a successful comeback. I just don't see him really fitting in Philly with Iverson, Iguodala, Carney, Green, Ollie, Williams and Jones. No fit for him at all. I do hope he (and Jay Williams) finds a home, and soon.

Interesting. :g: We worked him out last year, then at the last minute King desided not to sign him. Well I hope he gets it done this time.

The Sixers already signed Jay Williams. I dont think they have any use for Wagner because they already have Ollie, Williams, and L. Williams at the backup PG spot. I dont think he can play SG, either..he's too short. I'd love him on Wiz, we could definitely use him.

I'll keep AI over Jay Williams anyday. :happy0144: Honestly, I don't see Wagner fitting in with the Sixers anyway... we already have Iverson, Green, Ollie and Louis Williams. The only reason Wagner probably got the workout was because he is a Philly native and he is a good friend of Iverson's. Oh well, you always have to start somewhere, and hopefully he'll be able to sign on with a team somewhere in the league.

    Here's more news on Wagner:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Philadelphia Daily News - Dajuan Wagner said he tried out with the Sixers last Thursday but hasn't heard from the team yet.

"I'm waiting to hear from them," Wagner said last night after playing in the championship game of the John Rankin-Michael Anderson League at Drexel. "I don't know if my agent [Leon Rose] has heard from them or not. He told me a couple of other [NBA] teams are interested but he didn't say who."

Last night, Game defeated Camden, 138-125 before a sellout crowd at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. Cuttino Mobley (Clippers) led Game with 36 points, followed by Hakim Warrick (Grizzlies), who had 25, and Alvin Williams (Raptors) , who added 16. Rick Brunson (Rockets) dished 12 assists.

Wagner led Camden with 43 points and Terquin Mott had 36.</div>
I don't know what that game was for, probably charity, but nontheless Wagner put up 43! Nice. And I have a question: If you are a recovering NBA player ready for a comeback, and your agent says teams are interested in you, wouldn't you ask who? That would be my first question.

There is no doubt Dajuan can score, I mean he put up 100 points in a game in high school, so that part of his game is unquestionably there. The problem with him is that he had a lot of health problems in his first few years in the league, which basically forced him out of basketball in the first place. Couple that with his small size, and it's easy to see why teams are hesitant to sign the guy, but hopefully he finds a home in the NBA soon.I'm sure the Sixers would pick him up if we didn't already have four PGs.
