The Washington Capitals have re-signed goaltender Braden Holtby and defenseman John Erskine to two-year deals. The Capitals announced Monday that the 23-year-old Holtby will earn $3.7 million -- $1.7 million next season and $2 million in 2014-15. He was set to become a restricted free agent this summer.
