Eric Maynor happy for opportunity with Blazers despite leaving contending Thunder

It's nice to see him leave gracefully and show excitment to the new team he joins. Too many players look like this when they get traded from an up and coming team.

That's a really good sign! I am getting excited now!

Hate the cliche "it's a business" a player says when he is traded. It's not a business, it's a game, and part of the game is that you can be traded around the league for the enjoyment of the GM, owner, and fans.

    It's not a game, it's a business.

It's most definitely a business, Eric.

I'm curious, how did you feel when you were written off Bones? It's sorta like being traded isn't it? Business or a game?

Did Eric get traded around for the enjoyment of his fans?

And why am I calling him Eric? He doesn't call me Bartholomew.

Even if it's just politeness, frankly, I'd rather see politeness than sulks. Welcome, Eric.

I'd rather call him by his first name than that Bryant scum from LA with whom everyone seems to be on first name basis.
