He's shooting under 50% and bringing up his FT% is useless as he rarely gets to the line.

His minutes are up from last year and his scoring and shooting % are down. And so are his eFG% and TS%.

LMA isn't the same athlete and has turned him into Joe Smith overnight.

Aldridge's career FG% is basically the same as Duncan, Garnett and Bosh

It's better than Love, Randolph and Dirk

Here's an observation. When Aldridge is faced against teams that single coverage him; he is extremely efficient. Teams always have their center play defense against him.

Maybe you need to ask Mags what efficient means to him. Might mean different things to different people.

Yeah, and all coaches would vote Dirk in over LMA.
And no matter how a player becomes an all-star, it's still a BS award that gets thrown around in here like it actually means something.

    Please.

Literally every ISO ends in a fadeaway.

Care to explain his worst FG% of his career this season?

Why don't you explain what win shares are, the formula for it and how it's calculated, and why it's a great measure for efficiency.

Teams double LMA not because they're afraid he's going to score but because it (use to be) an easy way to cause a turnover. It doesn't appear that opposing coaches are worried about LMA leading a team to wins with his scoring ability. If they were concerned about that you'd think they would bother guarding him on the pick/pop - but the NEVER do, he literally shoots that shot wide open every single time...and that's certainly by the coach's design.
More than anything the double they throw at him is a feint to try to make him think and make a bad decision.

And part of that is his predictable scoring -- Take away his right shoulder and he fades every time. You can play him straight up and he still fades. His other go-to post move is also predictable -- Bump-Bump-drive right-baby hook.

And this is the guy the offense is built around.

Does predictability matter if it is effective? Duncan is pretty predictable, as is Garnett

Preaching to the choir! Luckily the choir seems to slowly be growing. Much like the Anti-Nate choir!

They're also far more skilled in every aspect of the game.

Are you really comparing their post games? Duncan and KG both mix it up with a multitude of moves. For one, they get the ball deep on the block. LMA rarely calls for the ball that deep.

That isn't what was being talked about though. Talking about predictable post moves.
