Good aqquistion for Indy, but Granger is going to be stuck on the bench which I really dont want to see. The kid deserves playing time.

Maybe just maybe, they could move O'Neal to C and stick Harrington at PF and let Granger start.

Finally the Pacers do something to improve themselves. Good trade. I can see them getting a playoff spot now in the East.

That's it? Just a 1st rounder for Harrington/Edwards? What about that $7-8M trade exception? Was that involved?I'm glad it's finally done though, and we all know Al is too. If Indiana can stay healthy next year they can be a top 5 team in the East. JO, Harrington, Jack, Tinsley, Foster with a nice young core of Granger, Daniels, Williams, White, Harrison, and Saras - I like. Plus I like guys like Greene and Armstrong comming in for some energy minutes. Not to mention a top 3 coach in the NBA, Carlisle is very underrated. But I really hope Indiana can stay healthy this year, they have a nice team. They could make some noise in the playoffs, I'm excited to see how this team does this year. They are going to be one of the top teams in the East.

Yes, the TE was obviously involved. That's a given. It wouldn't work at all otherwise. What was harrington signed to? the 5 year 57 mil thing? don't see why edwards was in this...

And about Edwards, I don't see why he was in this either, but oh well, he's not a guy that's going to play much anyway (on either team). But either way, Atlanta should have tried to get around giving up a center in this deal, no matter what his talent level is. They need all the help they can get, even if Edwards only plays 5-8 mpg.

I was thinking the same thing, he's not a top 3 coach.

yeah, saras is lower 30s, lol. If Indy doesn't get a top 5 seed, they should fire carlisle, that's a pretty talented group.

But Top 5 is pretty hard when your going against Detroit, Cleveland, New Jersey, Chicago, Miami, Washington, and Milwaukee, plus all of the improving young teams in the Atlantic.
