I know that some here don't believe how bad it will be when the big one hits. It is going to be BAD.

Here's a link to DOGAMI's website. They did a study of all public buildings in Oregon a while back. The list of schools is by county.

    http://www.oregongeology.org/sub/projects/rvs/county/county-sites.htm

I know that some of you are from NE Portland. Take a look at Sabin Elementary on that list. They rate that school as 100% likely to collapse in an earthquake. And, I don't think they are assuming a 9+ quake when they say that. Check the school your kids attend. If your kid goes to a school that will collapse, what do you see yourself doing for the first couple of days after the quake hits?

When the big one hits, all buildings made of unreinforced masonry will collapse. Many/most others built before 1990 will collapse to some degree, too.

    Go Blazers

    Nice pun.

    Actually, it's more Cheney's fault.

Halliburton is a very major player in the fracking world and has been guilty-but-not-prosecuted for a myriad of illegal fracking practices since at least 2003.
