    I don't think there's any way Bynum doesn't get a 4-year max.

    If Amare can get it (uninsured, even!) after 2 MF's and a bad eye injury, I think Bynum will....and I'm kinda glad he'll be priced out of our range.

    Even with injury I doubt it. I mean kwame Brown got 8 million just for being big.

    He's stayed healthy more consistently than Oden, but that's not saying much.

    About the only thing the Laker front office has done right in recent years is to get something for Bynum before it was too late. Why couldn't we do this with Oden?

    A GM has to be a seer--to anticipate the future and trade while he can.

    To get anything for Oden, we would have had to trade him after he came back from the first microfracture.... but the front office was too invested at that point. KP was determined to let that cake bake.
