Re: Veterans you wouldn't mind if your team acquired. Name some veterans in the NBA that you would welcome in to your team. Be reasonable, no Tim Duncan mentioning.Pistons: -James Posey, he's a backup 2-3, he can play great defense, and he's another good option on offense.-Antonio Daniels, he's another great defender, he can take over the 1 so we can save Lindsey Hunter for the playoffs. He's overpaid too much though.-Theo Ratliff, he could be Detroits backup 5, he still has pretty decent defense, could make up for Ben Wallace. He's overpaid also though.
Re: Veterans you wouldn't mind if your team acquired. Lorenzen Wright - The perfect backup C for us who can give you starter production off the bench. Something like 8 and 7 off the bench would be great for us. And our big men suck, so that'd be a great signing.
Re: Veterans you wouldn't mind if your team acquired. I'd like to see the Jazz add Keith Van Horn and Michael Olowokandi. both are pertainable, since neither has gardnered any interest this offseason. Van Horn is a local product playing at the University of Utah so its not to farfetched that he may comeback.
Re: Veterans you wouldn't mind if your team acquired. OK, well what rules? Only ones that are FA? How many years does a "vet" have(experience)?

Especially Van Horn who has nothing left in his game. He has also lately been losing interest in basketball to go along with his soft game.

Re: Veterans you wouldn't mind if your team acquired. I just want a Starting-Caliber PF or Backup C who can play the 4-5.Someone like Wright.
Re: Veterans you wouldn't mind if your team acquired. haha two people already said it, but ill echo my sentiments. ANY veteran, be it a guard or a big man, would be taken in well here in boston (unless he was on brian scalabrine suck level). i dont know if doc and danny realize they need some good vets to compliment the young dudes. they got a few guys in wall, paul, and theo, but past that, they're basically all kids, and to be honest with you, i don't really like that mix.
Re: Veterans you wouldn't mind if your team acquired. I'd like to see Wright or Ratliff rather than the new kid from the Cavs or Luke for the bulls. it would be a nice fill for the roster spot. David Wesly would be nice too, although undersized it would be another guard in case Thabo is not up to the task yet.
Re: Veterans you wouldn't mind if your team acquired. I'll take Brevin Knight all day everday, I love his style of play. Great team leader, understands how to break down defenses and find his teammates, doesn't look to score the ball every time down. I have also loved Danny Fortson because of the interior presence he gives you. Anytime your going up against Danny, your in for a night of hell because he will just bash with you all night long in the low post.
Re: Veterans you wouldn't mind if your team acquired. I would love a vet like James aPosey on the Raps who would shoot, defend, and lead.

Knight is awesome, but he just doesn't fit at all anymore.Fortson has personality issues and he is a fouling machine. It's a shame because if he could control his temper and stay in the game he would be a top 10 rebounder in the NBA. But, that's not the case. He will never get it.But realistically for Boston, with guys on the market (or not necessarily as hard to get): Carlos Boozer or Kenyon Martin. Boozer is a young star if he stays away from the injury bug. He's a sure double-double every night, and when healthy can give you 17+ ppg. He would be incredible for Boston. Then, K-Mart. He brings so much passion, he is athletic, he defends well, and he would become an instant fan favorite. I think he would do better in the East, and it seems that he could be had for a very reasonable price. I'm still loving that Wally/filler for Martin idea. Then, of course, we would have a big minutes problem if we took on a good big man without giving up either Gomes/Jefferson (and I want to wait and see with these 2 still, especially Jefferson).
Re: Veterans you wouldn't mind if your team acquired. I wouldn't mind having Eric Snow back with the Sixers, Theo Ratliff too. They woul both bring some veteran leadership, and would still contribute in some ways.
Re: Veterans you wouldn't mind if your team acquired. I woulden't mind if the heat got a good defender to guard permiter players
