Hinrich is basically a non-factor as an NBA player at this point. He's below average and hurt most of the time. A NBA also-ran. Maybe 2 more years in the league. Maybe. He does few things well and many things poorly. That, and he soaks up salary and a roster spot while nursing his frequent injuries.

One of the Bulls #1 priorities should be finding replacements for Hinrich (if he can be jettisoned somehow) and Hamilton for next season.

Yep, good to see you k4e.

Well, there's no arguing that he's having a hard time staying healthy.

I don't think there's a chance in hell that he'll be counted on as the starter next to Rose.

Hey! Hinrich's at 11.0. In fact, none of the Bulls who play significant minutes are currently under 10. WooHoo!!

In all honesty, I think Hinrich is better than his PER indicates. If nothing else it's evident in the way Thibs chooses to distribute minutes when the whole gang is healthy.

If he thought the PER's of Nate and Kirk were 100% indicative of their ability to impact the game then their roles would be reversed.

If Kirk were the only PG on the team, would Thibs give him all the minutes? Guess what, Kirk is the only PG on the team. So management can actually force him to play who they want. What they don't want is a $4M/season mistake.
