1. Damian Lillard 33-63 (52.4%) for 22.5 points and 11 treys in four games with Maynor finding his groove. Lillard's offensive efficiency was starting to concern me a little. Down to 4.8 assists over the same span, but I trust Lillard to be a playmaker when necessary. 2. Victor Claver emerging as our second-best rookie and a long-term keeper. Is it just me or this dude the Spanish Batum? Still just 24 years old. Can handle the ball, get in the lane, rebound, shoot the three, and has a 3 blocks and 2 steals in the last three games. 3. Meyers Leonard emerging as an actual NBA player. Really fun to watch. He loves running the floor and is improving gradually like I hoped. But is it just me or is he hedging wrong? We get split on the pick and roll every time down the floor when he's in. 4. Batum's wrist seems fine. Splashing those J's. 5. Dallas inching closer to us for that #13 draft position.
I agree on everything. However, it appeared that Nic re-injured his wrist tonight during a fall. Expect that to be a commonly talked about thing for the rest of the season.....
I'm a little disappointed that his assists are down, but tonight his teammates were sucking. Aldridge - 2-13 Batum - 4-10 Matthews - 4-11
