The Ducks and Beavers are both top 15 teams right now. The Beavs are 15-0 and rolling and the Ducks are playing small ball using great pitching, running the base paths and situational hitting to win. Should be fun to see if both teams make it to Omaha this year. Que the haters....5....4....3....2....
I work with a couple recent OSU grads, whose bosses are Duck grads. The Beaver boys are hanging their hats on baseball right now, since their football and hoops teams were so thoroughly outplayed by the ducks this year. Kind of impressive, if you think about it, that 5 of the 6 major sport teams from UO and OSU this season were/are nationally ranked. Only Robinson's hoopsters failed to make the grade.
...and don't forget about the Cinderella Ducks Volleyball team, the Beavers continued dominance in wrestling, and the incredible OSU gymnastics squad!
