I think Rudy held the Blazer record after Curry beat his rookie record.

EDIT: yeah, Rudy had 159 made, then Curry came back with 166.

http://bkref.com/tiny/G7bZv Here's a quick look at Lillard, Curry, and Rudy. Lillard has 134 3PM.

EDIT 2: and Lillard's on pace to do it; he's averaging 2.2 makes per game, and only needs 2 per game.

This is pretty crazy but I think Lillard will be better than curry. Lillard seems like a stronger, more head strong player. The format in golden state since curry was there has always been run and gun; which gives him way more opportunities there. Lillard is doing it with still a slower paced team.

Another side note. If the comparison is thought about; curry was a shit defender when he was first in the nba. Now he is pretty damn good. I hope Lillard can get to his defensive level in the same time.

Honestly, I think it makes Sacramento look bad, not so much the Nets.

Fair point, but even as a rookie, Curry's stealing ability far exceeded what Lillard can do; with that in mind I don't think Lillard will ever be as good as Curry defensively.
