You're wrong. We need to dilute our talent by trading all stars for role players. And keep on doing that. in a few years, it'll be Lillard's turn and we can have a bunch of "under the radar" guys who will one day....be awesome. Then when they become the focus on the team, we will obviously need to trade them again. The more obscure the better. Gotta be a basketball hipster.
I WON'T BE HAPPY UNTIL SOMEONE RECOGNIZES HOW WELL I CAN PICK OUT OBSCURE NBA PROSPECTS YOU'VE PROBABLY NEVER HEARD ABOUT. :MARIS61:
Poor example, you trade a car into a dealership with a markup to sell it. In the NBA, teams trade with each other. One gets a better value, the other does not. The key is to get the better value.
LMA doesn't command the double team any more. Teams have stopped doing that for the most part because LMA has stopped posting up. He posts up about 5 times a game now. He may get doubled once or maybe twice. It is not something that the Blazers are exploiting - so it doesn't matter if he CAN command double teams. The fact is, right now he DOESN'T.
100% disagree. And..... Did you ever think to realize that the focus has now moved to Lillard? If Aldridge was not on the team; expect triples on Lillard like they did with Roy years ago. Still can't believe how quickly people forget.
Talk about flipping the fuck out when someone gives an opinion . . . this thread is exhibit #1 of flipping the fuck over what other posters say. Aldridge has Quit; Sunshine and Rainbows! . . . this board is on emotional tilt these days
