I think you're overstating it. Not only would Leonard get available minutes at backup center, but Sanders also could slide to the PF spot as well, and Leonard and Sanders could share the frontcourt (considering we know that Leonard has the ability to play outside the key). In fact, that might be a very effective situation for Sanders defensively, with Leonard being the primary lane-clogger, and Sanders freed up to offer help defense as necessary.

It would not be untenable to think that Sanders and our starting PF (Hickson? Milsap?) could each get 34 mpg, while Leonard gets the other 28.

Here's the thing though. And don't get me wrong, I love me some sanders.... Who will demand the double and give Lillard to work at the top of the key?

I understand millsap would be a great addition; but it would be a hell of a gamble if we couldn't get him. I don't think hickson can.

Nobody. Lillard would get triple teamed.

This thread has lowered my opinion of this community at least 50%.

I'm not sure what the dumbest post is, but in the first 40 alone, I could probably pick 3 or 4 that are some of the most intellectually vacant posts I've read in some time.

LMA has averaged 19/7/3 since the break, and still defends the other team's post scoring threat.

What a dumb thread. I am dumber for actually wading through it.

So the conclusion after reading all this is about 50% thinks Aldrdige has quit for the season and the other half thinks he has not?

I don't agree with the premise that he quit. I just think he's overrated by this fanbase and fans are starting to realize it. He plays like a pussy.

Sanders can only stay on the court for 26 mpg because he's a fouling machine.

Did everybody here take crazy pills?

Everybody does realize that after next year, Sanders becomes a RFA, right? If he's so great, isn't he going to command even more that LMA and his "quitting" in the future?

Train wreck thread, but impossible to not read. Each new post brings a new level of stupid.

You haven't noticed a difference in Aldridge's play since the All-Star break?

My jaw is literally open. Somebody who realizes that having a post who commands attention opens up the floor for other players. A moment of clarity.

Larry Sanders is a 55% free throw shooter, ffs, and people are claiming he's some sort of stud? My God, what is going on here? He's a hustle player who can't stay on the floor, and while is a great weak-side defender, is fairly crappy on his primary.

Wait... nobody is saying that Larry Sanders would replace Aldridge. He would replace Hickson. We would then use our cap space to sign someone like Milsap or Al Jefferson to replace Aldridge.

I miss the days when it was only trading Aldridge for Greg Monroe

I've been traveling a lot for work and have been in Florida for almost two weeks, so I haven't seen many games.

What I have noticed is hysterical threads that are so over the top, they must be intentional parody. JJ Reddick is an unrestricted free agent after the season, and Sanders has only one more year under contract. Neither of them commands a double team, and neither of them can create their own shot, yet if they're as great as some seem to think, Reddick will get almost $9m/year, and Sanders could command over $10m after 2014.
