Oh I'm sure Beerboy was talking about Niners/Seahawks, but I was still going to bust his balls for it.

How does it make you feel that there are Seahawks fans that are Blazer fans. Probably better quit rooting for the Blazers. You wouldn't want to be seen with those riff raff Seahawks fans would you?

But you're a Niners fan? They're in CA.

I'd also like to see these alleged stats dating back to before the Seahawks were relevant. I'm pretty sure they was likely a bandwagon migration when the Seahawks became decent.

He asked if WSU fans should hate the Seahawks/Mariners because they hate the Huskies. I'm merely stating that Wazzu is still in Washington. We are in Oregon. We don't have a pro football or pro baseball team, which frees us up to support whichever team we choose. I chose not to like the Seahawks because

    A) They're shoved down our throats

    B) They come from a city where I generally dislike the fans

    C) Because fuck them.... that's why.

I think we can agree Oregonians hate Californians more than people from Washington.

This is all stupid anyway, who cares if someone in Portland likes the Seahawks or niners or raiders etc

What about Oregonians who went to UW and now live in California. I'm pretty sure I'm the devil to some on this board!

Naw. I hate SoCal and Washington equally. I don't hate Northern Cal. I don't even hate SoCal - I just hate the shitty, fast, out-of-control drivers, immigrants, and the pollution. Oh, and the Lakers.

Sure, there are outliers, but I hear a lot of Oregonians talking about those damn Californians ruining Oregon by moving here

Get with the times.... now it's those damn east coasters who are ruining Oregon by moving here.

At least Californians are from the west coast.

That's more a volume thing. I don't think there are droves of Washingtonians moving down to Portland like there are Californians. Plus, as much as some on here would hate to admit it, someone moving from Seattle probably won't get noticed as a non native Oregonian as easily as someone from California.

Inaccurate as it may be, I've always perceived Seattle as similar to Portland, but not wanting to be. I think the Portland disdain for Seattle is similar to the hipster disdain for those who emulate pop culture. Portland is weird and knows it and embraces it. Seattle is similarly weird, but wants to be corporate. Therefore, Portland resents Seattle for not embracing its true identity, for trying too hard to be mainstream.

It's everyone moving here. I heard on the news recently that DC and Portland are the two metro areas that more people are migrating to than any other metro areas in the country. Or something along those lines.

Didnt like the move then but glad they are getting what they can for a player they do not need.

I liked the move then, though it came with red flags. If Carroll, Lynch and RW3 (and a RING!) can't find a way to get him out of the me-firstness, then I'm with CF...a potentially-high 2nd is a decent recap of the sunk costs. Plus, doesn't it open up about 12M in cap room?

They went for it when they traded for him. They felt he was the final piece to bring Seattle it's first Super Bowl title. And in the big game he paid off and if I had to bet made the trade and contract extension worth it in the eyes Paul Allen. The rest is history. He did and brought what he was supposed to do and bring. I agree with you he didn't fit and wasn't needed. I think Harvin was more about Allen than Schneider and Carroll. If it was up to these two, they prob wouldn't have brought him in.

Not for sure the cap numbers but it should help resign Wilson.
