Lillard is the most amazing blazer I've seen in person.

I like dunks, but the circus shots are something else. He's already at Rod Strickland level for the crazy off the hip shots he can make.

Omg, there was this play when he was whacked twice and circus shot thus flip with his left. I was like, "wtf?!"

I sometimes wonder if he's like (and yes forgive the obvious physical gifts disparity) Michael Jordan in his intensity for perfecting his game.

It seems to me the way he studies his game and the games of others to become better... he did not show half these skills in the first 10 games, but here he is, making crazy drive after crazy drive, opening up his game with long bombs, and willing his turnovers down significantly in the last month. His shot selection is the latest beneficiary of his attentions: in March, he's shooting (as of before tonight's game) 52.9%, and 45.5% from 3! And he's cut his turnover rate in half from February. Amazing work this kid's doing to improve his game. He'd probably be the best bowler in the country if he wanted to be.

Remember when some people thought he couldn't finish at the rim?

A couple of months ago he shot outside a lot, and we wondered about going inside, but he's put that concern to rest. His defense has picked up and he's actually not bad at that at all. Everything's on track for a big sophomore season.

Yes that was annoying. "Sure he can do it against the smaller players" but can he dunk in the NBA? Where the basket is ........10 feet?

I loved what Shaq had to say when finishing the game recap. Haven't watched it again, but to paraphrase... I know you all love LeBron and Kobe, but make room for Lillard.

I realize that we as Blazers fans can be homers from time to time, but does anyone else feel like maybe we've been cautiously underrating Lillard? When someone asks us to rank PGs, we've put Irving and Curry and even some would put Holliday above him. I find it interesting because many of the national analysts are putting him up there with the best of them.

You want a stat that doesn't show up in the box score...... he was the last player to leave tonight! Down in the loading dock there must have been 75 fans who satyed behind to get autographs. he stayed behind and with Nic and Wes to sign EVERY one and take pics. Then as he was leaving signed both his shoes and tossed them to some kids. Class act!

Anything about his knee John? Looked like he was icing it up after he came out.

He plugged his shoes on TNT. As the board celeb, why don't you ever hand out your family legwear like he does?

    Never mind, I got some.

Funny story about rookies signing after games, many moons ago I was at the Blazers/Raptors game. This was the season that we traded for Damon, but he was still on the Raps at the time. I went down to the loading dock where everyone waits for autographs, hoping to get Damon to sign my program. Damon never actually showed up because he didn't get on the bus with his team, but the raps had a rookie who came over and was signing anything given to him. I balked at having some unknown guy sign my program.... I wanted Damon dammit!

    That rookie was Tracy McGrady.

Looked at the injury in the truck from a few different angles. If you've ever bumped knees on the court it kills for awhile. He wasn't limping at all when he was leaving after the game, so I think he will be fine.
