4 players have achieved the quadruple double in NBA history. That is at least 10 of four of the following categories: points, rebounds, assists, blocks, or steals. I think the 2007 season will see another quadruple double.Who can achieve this monster stat line?-Andrei Kirerlinko-Shawn Marion-Chris Paul-Jason Kidd-Ben Wallace-Paul Pierce-Boris Diaw-A few others have a shot.I expect AK-47 to reach a quadruple double this year. It's a lot to expect, but I think that if anyone can do this, Andrei can. What's your take on the Quadruple Double?
I don't see it happening for a long time, but hey what do I know? Nobody expected 81. But I don't see how you can leave LeBron or KG off this list. They can both get triple doubles basically whenever they please. But if I had to pick 1 guy (although I don't think it will happen) I would definitely say AK47. He just does everything, and he's gotten a couple Fifty-Fives in the past few years.
I would go with AK47 as well. he almost had one last year, he was just an assist and 2 blocks away from it. he's also shown he can get 10+ in one of all five catagories, so it wouldn't be a stretch to say he could do it all in one game. I actually wouldn't be to shocked to see him get a quintouple double one day.
I would go with Diaw. He plays with the flow of the game. Getting a quadruple doubled couldn't be a forced thing and AK-47 had to force it to get his first trile double this season. I think Diaw could do it.
Quadruple Doubles are ridiculous and for one to happen would be so rare that it's pretty impossible to even predict a year that it'd happen in. That being said, if I had to pick someone to get it, like you guys said Kirilenko would probably be my top choice, followed by LeBron.
AK definately. He can get 10 in ALL categorys. He can Block, Rebound, Pass,Steal, and Score . alot of people cant do that all efficently

I don't get why everyone says AK-47, he only has one career triple double and he had to force it to get that.

He has the ability to get around 10 steals and/or 10 blocks in a game. He averages like 16/7-8/4 and also over 3 blocks. And I just looked up his triple-double, the stats are 18/16/11. Forcing it? No, Kirilenko doesn't force things. Here are his numbers for his 2 5X5's in 1 year:10 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, 6 steals, 5 blocksand19 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, 8 steals, and 5 blocksHe just has that all around ability, and IF someone was going to do it (which again, I don't think it will happen for a while) it would be Andrei Kirilenko.
When I said force it, I meant it was towards the end of the game and he was freaking out passing up open shots trying to get an assist. Then when he got it he was celebrating.
AK actually has two triple doubles. he got one last year against the Kings and it wasn't forced. he had like 16 points, 14 boards, and 10 blocks.
I hate how they consider someone getting a triple double if they have lets say 15 points 12 assists and 10 turnovers....*cough....LeBron against Wiz in last years playoffs...

What's your take on the Quadruple Double?</div> that list is pretty bad, to be honest. marion doesn't assist enough, paul doesn't steal/block, kidd's too old to have a real shot, ben wallace mostly just rebounds, and I doubt Diaw will get blocks/steals high enough.Nobody really has a shot except LeBron. So what if kirilenko has 2 5x5s or whatever. He did THAT in a 48 minute game. Unless they increase game time, that's not happening.
So what, no one expected Hakeem to get 10 assists, or Alvin Robertson to get 10 rebounds. It can happen. Kidd isn't too old, that's ignorant. I'll admit he has slowed down, but he is still able to make plays and grab rebounds. Chris Paul can get steals, what are you talking about? Ben Wallace just rebounds is a pretty bad analysis. He can score 10 points easily. Rebounds is a given, blocks can come, and 10 assists isn't hard, Ben could do that.I messed up not saying KG or Lebron though. I should have put them on the list.

I honestly don't see James being able to do it. he isn't a good enough defender to get the needed blocks or steals.
AK can probably do it.I think a guy like Lamar Odom could do it, if he actually showed up. He's built for it, a good scorer, passer, rebounder and shot blocker. LeBron too. But in all honesty, we wont see another quadruple double unless they bring Wilt Chamberlain back from the dead or something crazy like that.
Wilt never got a Quadruple double.-Nate Thurmond-Alvin Robertson-Hakeem Olajuwon-David RobinsonEdit: Steals and Blocks weren't recorded when Wilt played, so thats why he never got it. He probably would have had more than one quadruple double in his career.

It would probaly be hard to get this, but i Think lebron could get it. I mean he scores, rebounds, passes all he would have to do is get 10 steals
