The Knicks have more talent than the Raptors on paper but I'm pretty confident that Toronto will have a better year next season.
like i said before raptors suck knicks are better. if raptors have a better record ill wear a sig saying raptors own knicks

Anyone care to explain their answer? A lot of extremely quick answers. Here's my take: New York is one of the most talented teams in the league, but it's a damn shame that they can't get it together. That entire organization is a complete mess. They have 2 guards (Stephon, Stevie) who have almost the same game and are somewhat selfish players, they traded their much needed draft picks for an overweight center with heart problems (Curry), they give rediculous contracts to everybody (especially James), Isiah is the worst GM I have witnessed in my entire 17 years of life, they don't even think about defense, half the team is selfish and is only playing for the money, etc. etc. etc. I could probably write a 3000 word essay on the Knicks' troubles, but it's not worth it. 2nd worst record in the NBA, highest payroll, no lottery picks - who the hell does that work? Only Isiah would know. The only things I like about this organization is the history and Channing Frye. OK, well I like Crawford, Lee, and Malik Rose as well. But they are in terrible shape and have a lacking future unless they fire Isiah and start all over once the contracts expire (by that time, Frye will be nearing his prime and he would be an excellent building block). Toronto's future looks good. Colangelo is going to attempt to transform them into the Suns of the East (I know you've all probably heard that statement 100 times, but it's true). The TJ Ford trade was excellent, and they definitely got an awesome PG to run that team. He's young, a playmaker, and he has a good all around game with a lot of heart. Charlie V will be missed, but they will learn to like the deal once they see the success Ford will have there (plus Bargnani's scoring). We all know about CB4, Chris Bosh: already an All-Star and is an exceptional young talent. The Raps have a decent 2nd scoring option in Mo-Pete, an athletic burst of energy in Jones, the #1 pick with potential in Bargnani, smart PG off the bench in Calderon, possible good player in the NBA in Parker, Joey Graham is a future Fred Jones-type player, Nesterovic isn't great but he's solid. I really like the future of this team. They are going to be a good team in a couple of years. Let Colangelo work his stuff and let the youth develope together - they will be something to watch out for sooner than you would think. So, I don't understand the question fully. Is it who is better now, or the future? Actually, forget that I pick Toronto for both. They have a group of unselfish young players with a lot of potential and one of the best big men in the NBA in a year or 2. I think the Raptors will get the 3rd or 4th seed in the Atlantic this year, with New York staying in dead last. Now Raptors > Knicks (even though the Knicks have one of the most talented teams in the league) Future Raptors >>>>>>>>>>> Knicks
Obviously im going to say Toronto and I will, but one thing about the Knicks is that they keep scaring me every season even though they totally sucked the previous year....if they actually find out what a PASS is then maybe they can be decent, I just dont understand and my mind does not want to comprehend how a team with so much talent can be so garabe.....anyways Toronto will sweep the season series agaisnt the Knicks for years to come, Thomas, Aldridge, Morrision sure would of been a nice addition.
Honestly Isiah will fix us this year. he wanted a run and gun team But LB doesnt want to caoch that. LBs coaching takes time and teaching. Isiah cant wait for the time because he will lose his job. this year Isiah picked the team he thought would be sucess. hes got it. Isiah is the PROBLEM and SOLUTION
I think you guys should focus on playing your rising stars rather then trying to squeeze into the playoffs or out of the bottom 3 respectivly. Someone has to go however this season if the Knicks want to succeed and something is telling me Isiah will deal Roses' expiring contract for another average player who will hurt the salary for a couple more years. If I were the GM of the Knicks with this roster I would just put every single player on the trading block, and whatever offer I get I would take. With the exception of Frye - everyone else can go.

Why is this even being debated? Toronto is a much better team overall. 99/100 people would rather be in their situation than New York. Of course NY has talent though.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (wolverine30 @ Aug 30 2006, 02:32 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>new york knicks have better talent but the raptors have good team chemistry</div>I agree. They have a great star in Chris Bosh and a solid core of players for Bosh to play around. The Knicks are stuck with Starbury, Franchise and Q-Rich. The other players don't know who to pass the ball to. It gets hard for them to play good. The Knicks aren't getting anywhere with that team. They ought to play like it's an All-Star Game. You know? In the All-Star Game, even players like Kobe Bryant and Shaq pass the ball. I'm not saying Kobe & Shaq are ballhogs, but they become great passers in the All-Star Games.
