There's no appeal to authority in those threads, just plain ol' fashioned bullshit the way it should be.

To be fair, though, Shooter didn't post 'see, this guy thinks LMA is the best!'. He just posted a link with a photo. Fairly innocuous, or so I thought.

Are you kidding? I was one of the people who said they DIDN'T want Nash. Your history is very peculiar.

And I'm saying that Aldridge, one of the best power forwards in the league, SHOULD be able to dominate a 36 year old Tim Duncan. Who said anything about "all young power forwards" or any other power forwards for that matter?

Duncan is still an All-Star. What does age have to do with it?

What does age have to do with matching up a 27 year old All-Star and (as some would say) the best power forward in the game versus a guy who is 36? Nothing. Nothing at all.

2 days ago, Aldridge shot a miserable 3-14, causing OKC to blow us out by 20 points. Most times he handled the ball, he bobbled it. Most times he dribbled, he lost possession. He is so stealable when he dribbles, that Westbrook figured out by mid-game to run to him from way over on the other side of the court. It was like taking candy from a baby.

Let's see him win one playoff series. He is light years from taking a team on his shoulders and truly being The Man.

Definitely better than bosh did when he lead the raptors. Better than love; since he can't lead his team to +35 wins. Lol

Yep and when all said and done Aldridge will be the best PF ever to suit up in a Blazers uniform!! He will probably also retire a Blazers. The Portland Blazers have really had some great power forwards.

Aldridge has owned Duncan for six years and counting.

I wouldn't mind him retiring as a Blazer (after a long career), but I think in todays NBA that's going to be super rare.

There's a reason why Duncan, Pierce, Dirk and Bryant are one of the only players who have been one team for as long as they have.

That said, all things considered (longevity, sanity, stats and ability) he's arguably the best or 2nd best.

Not sure I think Maurice Lucas' name should really be blindly put as the best PF ever, even with winning a title. That's not Bucks fault, or Rasheeds or LaMarcus' fault.

One thing's for sure by the evidence here: Much easier to discount fan views in mass than to address the merit (or lack of it) in their posts. Your post is just a simple ad hominem.

Says more about how weak the PF position is right now more than anything.

I do. Its a weak era for PF's. I don't really agree that he's the best either. He's top 5, maybe top 3. If Love's healthy he's better. I like Lee better as well. I do agree Aldridge is better than Griffin though.
