I would add that there are many sports (basketball)-minded folks who don't even venture over to the OT section. Not to mention that there's a huge amount of people interested in the Ducks success in tourney.

This was my line of thinking when starting the thread here, as opposed to the OT section.

Oregon has beaten UNLV, Arizona, UCLA, Oklahoma State, and Saint Louis. Why can't they beat Louisville? The gap between the two teams is smaller than the media would lead you to believe. Sure, it's not a good match-up for Oregon, but it's not unwinable. The Oregon backcourt just needs to limit turnovers and control the tempo. This Louisville team likes to gamble defensively, get out on the break, and speed up the game. If Oregon makes it a half-court game and controls the ball, they've got a great shot to win the game.

If Oregon can keep shooting from deep like they have they can win this game. Louisville isn't as good as the media says they are.

I hope you guys are right. The part that worries me is they are the #1 seed overall for a reason. (Not that the selection committee has been right about much)

I just want to see a good game and good consistent calls by the refs. Ducks need to stay close and Kazemi needs to stay out of foul trouble. As does Artist and Loyd. Both will get minutes playing together in order to handle Louisville's pressure.

This isn't my thread. Just thought it was funny he took the time to post not about the topic, but about moving the thread.

Personally, I don't give two shits about what's OT/not OT, but I think the Ducks run is relevant for the Blazers forum. I mean, I'm even having a hard time following my own Grizz down the stretch here in the regular season, because this is the time of year when March Madness takes over.

This is why I love being a college basketball and NBA fan. My Spartans have shot, but even if we fall short, I've got playoff basketball around the corner. It's just a great time to be a NCAA/NBA basketball fan, unless you're like a UNC and Bobcats fan... in that case, you should probably be on suicide watch...

A hint of irony for D-Wade. Marquette beat Miami tonight.

What's the point of having the OT and Ducks sections if they aren't used for what they were made for?

I'll move the thread after the game is over unless the Ducks win then I'll sticky it so you Beaver fans can look on it forever!

Ducks aren't gonna win. The refs don't want them to.

If only the ducks were blazers. This deficit would be easy to come back from!

The inconsistencies of how they call a charge/block are ridiculous. And the Cardinals travel practically every time they drive to the hoop. Can you take three steps in college?
